In our first few days in San Salvador we went on a free walking tour given by Estefany of EC Tours. The tour was a three-hour walk through some of the main sights of central San Salvador, was amazingly interesting and is thoroughly recommended to anyone visiting the city (as is the EC Tours guesthouse Alis Downtown).
